Geringhoff XFR (XtremeFlex Razor)

Features
All New! XFR
Unbeatable Flexibility
The XFR (XtremeFlex Razor) is the newest in our line-up of drapers. Our all-around draper is 50' wide and is equipped with a 3-section reel, 3-section frame and fully flexible cutterbar. The lightweight design of the wings maximizes the responsiveness in uneven terrain. The XtremeFlex Razor’s wings boast a flex ±7° for a total flex range of 52”. Designed for high volume harvesting with the widest center belt (87”) and feeder house opening, the XtremeFlex Razor maximizes harvesting with all models of larger combines.
Available in 50 foot width only.
Xtreme Performance
The XFR is designed to offer xtreme performance in all crop and field conditions. From its all-new auger design to its enhanced reel design, the XFR is engineered to capture the crop others leave behind.
- Hydraulic reel drive with 50% more torque*
- Ultra-lightweight wings are 45% more flexible*
- Wings flex ±7° for total flex range of 14°
- New feeding auger design and improved performance
- 60% more intake auger torque*
- 24% faster intake speeds*
Features at a Glance
Geringhoff Advantages
From the frame and bodywork to the flip-over reel and cutting system, our draper heads are engineered to provide unmatched performance, reliability, countering, and flexibility in every field.
Centralized Drive Design
Unlike competitors who spread mechanics across the draper, the XFR houses all drives in the center. This precision engineering results in lighter wings (and end panels) for quick adjustment and adaptation to the contours of any field.
- Reel drive
- Central knife drive
- Hydraulic pumps
- Oil tank in frame
- Cross auger drive
Floating Feeding Auger
Featuring a new floating design, the large diameter (25”) feeding auger provides 1.6” of height compensation to maintain optimal crop flow to the combine in any crop or field conditions. Engineered to handle heavy and voluminous harvesting conditions, the feeding auger boasts 24% faster intake speeds and 60% more torque than the TruFlex Razor. Tool-less auger tine adjustment allows for quick adaption during harvest.
Wide Belts for Crop Flow
The XFR utilizes wide belts designed to accommodate high-volume harvesting and larger combines. At 87”, the XFR's center belt is 7”– 8" wider than other major manufacturers and is the widest center belt on the market. Paired with deep (41”) side belts that provide uniform crop flow, crops are gently and efficiently transferred to the combine via the large feeder house opening. Reversible center belt and side belt speeds are controlled via in-cab terminal.
Enhanced Reel and Tines
3-section reel and 3-section frame provide consistent distance between the lightweight flip-over reel and the cutter bar. The improved reel drive provides increased efficiency and higher torque (+50%). Reel tine spacing of 4" provides optimal crop flow and tine angle is adjustable to 9 different positions for harvesting any crop in any condition. New angled sweeper tines at end of the reel help capture every grain and reduce losses.
Superior End Panels
Since end panels are free of drives, they are ultra-lightweight and more responsive to field conditions. In fact, the lightweight floating end panels allow for 45% more flexibility than the TruFlex Razor. The drive free end panels are extra narrow which reduces contact with adjoining crop and diminishes crop damage and loss. Extra narrow end panels close the gap between the panel and the side of the belt to improve yield potential and are moveable (tipping) to help improve crop flow along the sides.
Flexible Cutting System
Outfitted with the Schumacher EasyCut II, the cutting system provides durable industry-leading performance with low maintenance. Knives are mounted alternately for less wear on cutting edges and guards - which are made of spring steel making them lighter while providing higher stability. The flexible cutter bar provides ±3" of ground contouring travel for a total of 6" of cutter bar flex. Utilizing height control sensors distributed across the full width of the head, the flexible cutter bar increases yield potential with its ability to cut nearly at ground level.
Xtreme in Flex or Fix
Whether operating in Flex or Fix mode, the XFR offers xtreme performance starting with active height control in both modes. In Flex mode, the cutter bar is flexible and cutting height under 1.5” is maintained using height detection at the cutter bar. A total of 12 sensors help ensure a razor close cut in any field. In Fix mode, the cutter bar is rigid and cutting height of 1.3” – 11.8” is controlled using 4 sensor with 2 drag rods each (8 total sensors). The 27” drag rod distance offers a 75% increase in spacing over the TruFlex Razor and provides wider ground sensing.
Divided Cross Auger
The large 14” cross auger is an optional upgrade for harvesting in high volume conditions. Featuring an enhanced design, the cross auger is divided into 4 segments with an open section for the feeding auger. This provides optimum transfer of material between the cross auger and feeding auger to minimize losses. Pivot points aligned with those of the 3-section frame guarantee consistent height between the cross auger and belt to capture every grain. Thanks to the extra narrow end panel design, the cross auger starts inside the panel to further reducing crop losses.
